Safe driver insurance

The easiest way to keep your car insurance costs down is to stay out of trouble. The people who end up falling into preferred groups are the ones with safe driver insurance, which they get from having consistently good records. While you might be lucky and have a company that will forgive your very first speeding ticket or even at times your first drunk driving conviction, after that it usually means a big rise in your rates and a loss of your safe driver insurance status. The best way to save money, then, is to stay safe.

This can be harder than it seems, though, because most people end up breaking speeding laws when they are in a hurry or not paying attention. I once had a job where, in the first week of training, if you were even a minute late for the beginning f work or after break or anything, then you were fired, no excuses. Even if you got into a car accident. I’m sure that there are many people working under these conditions that have car insurance rates at the back of their mind while they’re trying to make sure they keep their job, but there are still ways that you can make sure you avoid speeding tickets so that your rates stay low and you keep your safe driver insurance prices.

The best way to do this is to drive with the flow of traffic. If everyone around you is passing you up, then you can put your foot on the gas. Stick to the person who is going faster than you. Don’t speed on an empty road, even if you don’t think there’s a cop around, because there might be one hiding. Be wary of dips in the road and areas where you can cross from one direction to the other, because often there is a police officer lying in wait. Oh, and those cop detector things? They don’t work. Especially when you’re spotted by someone in a helicopter pointing the radar gun.
