It’s the same principle that you can get cheaper electronics from an electronics store.

Another thing you can do is join a club that is specific to your car. There are car clubs for many high performance vehicles, and a lot of them have managed to get discounts with different car insurance companies. Even if your club does not offer a discount, your car insurance company might give you one just for being a member of the organization for your vehicle. Another way to keep your rates going good is to drive less, so you might qualify for a low mileage discount.
